Summer Skin

It’s officially Summer! If the sun is out your skin is out and we want to be the reason you’re glowing. Isle of Luxe not only helps you achieve smooth, silky skin year-round, but can specifically help with Summer skin concerns.

Dry Skin: Sun, heat, chlorine, and salt contribute to dry, rough skin. Too much time in the sun, pool, or ocean can leave your skin parched, which is where Isle of Luxe oils come in to play. First the salts go to work to remove dead & dry skin, so the mix of conditioning Coconut, Jojoba, Shea, Avocado, and Grapeseed Oils can replenish moisture and smoothness. Bonus: exfoliation allows lotions and creams (we recommend our Body Butter!) to penetrate even deeper, locking in softness.

Lightweight moisture: Summer heat often means it’s too warm to apply your usual moisturizer; you want the look of lotion with the heavy feel. Using Isle of Luxe in the shower or bath means you don’t have moisturizer after! Those softening oils absorb to  give the look of freshly applied lotion, without the weight. Bonus: Pat skin dry instead of rubbing with a towel for a long lasting glow.

Clogged Pores: The heat of Summer mixes with perspiration, sunscreen, and anything else on your body leading to clogged pores. The exfoliating salts in Isle of Luxe will help clear dirt and bacteria that can build up over time. Salt has anti-bacterial qualities built in, so it’s helpful for maintaining bacteria-free skin and comforting itchy Summer skin.

Last but not least, feel good about your skin! Summer is all about feeling great in your own skin; while there’s no miracle cure to turn back the clock, exfoliating increases circulation in the skin and encourages the regeneration of new skin cells, helping to  reveal beautiful skin hiding just underneath. Cell regeneration can also reduce discoloration and spots, evening out skin tone and improving texture. What are you waiting for, get glowing!
